Hawzah News Agency- In a statement released on Sunday, Ayatollah Araki said the recent threats reflect desperation rather than strength, as Iran continues to navigate complex regional and international challenges with “authority and composure” under the guidance of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
The statement begins with the name of God and situates the remarks within what Ayatollah Araki described as a sensitive and decisive period for the Islamic Republic.
“At a time when the Islamic Republic of Iran, by virtue of the wise and courageous leadership of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, has passed with strength and calm through the most complex security, political, and international challenges, the true face of the enemies of the Iranian nation has once again been exposed,” he said.
Ayatollah Araki described the recent rhetoric by the US president and the Israeli prime minister as “cheap and threatening language” that reveals the strategic exhaustion of the US-Zionist front.
“These statements are not a sign of power,” he said, “but rather an expression of the desperation of a front that has repeatedly fallen into grave miscalculations in the face of the iron will of the Iranian nation and the wise leadership of the Islamic Revolution.”
He noted that years of “hybrid warfare”—including economic pressure, psychological operations, internal destabilization, and support for terrorist groups—have failed to undermine Iran’s resolve.
“They have now clearly realized that the central pillar of the Islamic Republic’s power is the inspiring leadership of the Vali-e Faqih and his deep, unbreakable bond with the faithful and aware Iranian people,” Ayatollah Araki added.
The senior cleric stressed that the Iranian nation’s support for the Leader of the Islamic Revolution is firm, conscious, and comprehensive, warning that any threat or insult directed at him amounts to an attack on Iran’s national and religious identity.
“Any act of aggression, threat, or insult against the leadership of the Islamic Revolution and the will of the Iranian people will be regarded as an assault on the national and religious identity of this proud nation,” he said. “Responsibility for the consequences will rest squarely on the shoulders of the designers and sponsors of such threats, whether at the regional or global level.”
Ayatollah Araki also issued a direct warning to Iran’s adversaries, saying the era of cost-free threats is over.
“Today, the enemies of the Iranian nation are hereby warned that the age of consequence-free intimidation has come to an end,” he said. “The Islamic Republic of Iran, relying on its national power, internal cohesion, strategic depth, and popular support, possesses full capability to defend its security, dignity, and leadership.”
He concluded by stressing that any strategic miscalculation would reverberate well beyond the region.
“Any error of judgment against the Islamic Republic of Iran and its leadership will impose a heavy and lasting cost on international equations,” the statement said.
